What is the difference between an "upgrade" and an "update"?
An upgrade is a purchase to change from an existing license to a license for a greater number of users (or to a greater number of projects in Balsamiq Cloud).
An update is when you download and install the newest version of Balsamiq. According to our Software Maintenance, major version releases of Balsamiq for Desktop are considered paid updates.
What does it cost to upgrade to a larger license or plan?
Current upgrade pricing information is always available online:
- Balsamiq Cloud
- Balsamiq for Desktop
- Balsamiq for Confluence Cloud (sold by Atlassian)
- Balsamiq for Jira Cloud (sold by Atlassian)
How can I order an upgrade?
